Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee has charmed audiences across the country with its effortless wit and humor. Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable experience.
An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.
A riotous ride, complete with audience participation, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a delightful den of comedic genius.

Based on the hit 1976 film, starring a pre-teen Scott Baio and Jodi Foster, and featuring a catchy, swinging score by the composer of The Muppet Movie, Bugsy Malone JR. is good, clean, comedic fun!
Two gangs in a fictitious city populated only by children are in a rivalry of Capone-ian standards. Dandy Dan's gang has gotten the upper hand since acquiring the "splurge" gun (a weapon that shoots whip cream). Bugsy Malone, a one-time boxer, is thrust into the limelight when he becomes the last chance Fat Sam's gang has of surviving. All Bugsy really wants to do is spend time with his new love, Blousey... but that just isn't in the cards for our hero.

The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character.

Experience the world of Improv and theater skills, and bring a friend to save $25 off the tuition for you and each friend you bring!
Students will learn improvisation and other theatre skills in fun game-based activities.
The Greatest Showman Camp Session 2
August 13 - 17 Afternoon 2:30-5
Recitals last 30 minutes of last day of camp
Perform the songs and choreography of The Greatest Showman movie, and bring a friend to save $25 off the tuition for you and each friend you bring!
Students will learn acting, singing, dancing, Improv, and other theatre skills based on the Showman theme.
Individual Price: $150
Pre-school/Kindergarten ages 3 thru 6
Students will participate in creating an age appropriate musical. They will learn the introductory basics of music, dance and theatre. Students are required to wear closed toe shoes and clothing they can dance in comfortably.
Parents should stay during rehearsals. Students must be potty trained.
Broadway Beginners (Each Camp is One Week)

We have discounts! Our Bring a Friend discount is $25 off for you and the friend if you bring a new to Upstage Arts friend to register for this class. This discount is additive, meaning if you bring 5 friends your tuition is free.
We also have a sibling discount of $25 for a second child, and a $25 discount for the second or third week you attend. Only one of these discounts can apply per family.

Tuition cost will be $100 including the $20 costume fee.
