The Company is the Upstage Arts internship program designed for ages 16 through college. Interns are selected though an interview and audition process. The internship is designed for successful students to mentor upcoming actors.
Coordinator: Shelley Brownfield
Company members will produce two shows during the year. In addition to participation in their own shows, interns are encouraged to participate in all other aspects of the theater from direction, acting, house management to technical design. Students must meet a minimum requirement of volunteer hours. Students will also be expected to help fundraise for the theater.
Company members will be limited to 12 actors. (Six representing musical theatre and six representing acting.)
There is no tuition payment required for the Company.
